Terms of Service
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms are a legal agreement between you and RallyDate. Please read them: they include rules you must follow and limits on our liability.
1. This agreement
RallyDate is provided by RallyDate (legal entity name to be confirmed), Postal address to be confirmed (“RallyDate”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the RallyDate app or website (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines and our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use RallyDate
To use RallyDate you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be legally able to enter into this agreement;
- not be prohibited from using the Service under the laws that apply to you;
- not have been convicted of, or pleaded guilty to, a sexual offence, an offence involving violence or a threat of violence, or any crime against a child, and not be required to register as a sex offender anywhere;
- not have been banned from RallyDate before, unless we have agreed in writing that you may return;
- have only one account.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Apple or Google. You're responsible for everything that happens on your account, so keep your device and those accounts secure, and tell us at support@rallydate.app if you think someone else has used it.
- Your profile must be about you, with true information and recent photos of you. Don't impersonate anyone or create an account for someone else.
- You may not sell, transfer or share your account.
4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse
RallyDate has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Accounts that post such content or abuse other members are removed. You must follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not post, send or do anything that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens, intimidates, stalks or shames anyone;
- is hateful or discriminatory, or attacks people for who they are;
- is sexually explicit, includes nudity, or is sexual and sent to someone who hasn't asked for it;
- involves, depicts or sexualises anyone under 18, in any way;
- promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, illegal drugs or other illegal activity;
- is fraudulent: scams, requests for money or gifts, fake profiles, catfishing or phishing;
- offers or solicits sex, escort services or any commercial transaction;
- advertises, recruits, promotes a business or spams;
- shares someone else's private information or images without their consent;
- infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- interferes with the Service: scraping, bots, automated access, reverse engineering, getting around limits or blocks, or trying to access other accounts or our systems.
5. Your content
You own the photos, text and messages you add to RallyDate (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resize or crop) and distribute your content only so we can operate, secure and improve the Service, for example to show your profile to other members. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account, except for content another member still holds in a conversation, and copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons as described in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to share your content and that it follows these Terms. We don't check all content before it appears, but we may review, refuse or remove any content at any time. Other members' content belongs to them; don't copy or share it outside the Service without their permission.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
6. Meeting other members
RallyDate introduces people who share sports, but we do not run criminal background checks on members, and we cannot verify everyone's identity or guarantee how anyone behaves, on or off the Service. A verified badge only means our team matched a selfie to the profile photos. You are responsible for your own interactions with other members.
- Read our dating safety tips. Meet in public, tell a friend, and never send money or financial information to another member.
- Physical activity carries risk. Only take part in activities that suit your health, fitness and experience, use proper equipment, and check with a doctor if you're unsure. You take part in any activity at your own risk.
- Any dispute with another member is between you and them, but please report anything unsafe to us.
7. Reports, moderation and enforcement
- You can block anyone, and report any profile, message or photo message in the app. Reporting also blocks the person.
- Our team reviews reports and acts on them within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks these Terms and remove the accounts of users who posted it or behaved abusively.
- We may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently ban your account if we believe you broke these Terms or the Community Guidelines, put others at risk, or harmed RallyDate. We may act without notice where safety requires it. Accounts reported as underage are suspended straight away while we review.
- We may preserve content and share it with law enforcement where the law requires it or someone is at risk, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- If you think we made a mistake, write to support@rallydate.app and we'll take another look.
8. Your licence to use RallyDate
Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the RallyDate app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the Service, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows it.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, text, graphics and the RallyDate name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms don't give you any right to use our brand.
10. Fees
RallyDate is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we'll show the price and terms before you buy, and purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow their payment and refund terms.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using RallyDate at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account), or follow the steps on Delete your account. We may end or suspend your access as described in section 7, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 5 (for content we must keep), 6 and 12 to 17 continue after your account ends.
12. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep RallyDate useful and available, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that you will find a match. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, on or off the Service. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, RallyDate and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other members. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
These limits do not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, to fraud, or to any other liability that cannot be limited by law. If you live in the EU or UK, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care.
14. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate RallyDate for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your conduct towards other members.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where RallyDate (legal entity name to be confirmed) is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at support@rallydate.app so we can try to resolve it informally.
16. Apple App Store and Google Play
If you downloaded RallyDate from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
- These Terms are between you and RallyDate only, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). RallyDate, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Your licence to use the app is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- RallyDate is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support.
- RallyDate is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- RallyDate, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that the app or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, RallyDate, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Questions, complaints or claims about the app should be sent to RallyDate (legal entity name to be confirmed), Postal address to be confirmed, support@rallydate.app.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the app, such as your mobile data plan.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If you downloaded RallyDate from Google Play, you also agree to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.
17. General
These Terms, with the Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, and we'll tell you if that happens.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms as RallyDate changes. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect (sooner only where safety or the law requires it). If you keep using RallyDate after that, you accept the new Terms; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
